Striking Together for Bronze is the third in a series of percussion only concerts written and conceived by Cambridgeshire Music’s Mark Aldous. Students, teachers, community groups and professional performers combine to perform thrilling new arrangements including the world premiere of Striking Together for Bronze – a ground-breaking new piece commissioned for a 100 piece percussion orchestra including samba and steel pan groups from our local community.
The performers are drawn from a wide spectrum of ability and have been working tirelessly in the run up to this concert to provide a memorable, emotional and engaging performance. Professional duos Maraca2 and Duplicity will be performing alongside the students bringing their own expertise and energetic Marimba melodies.
Come and be inspired by talented students, community musicians and professional performers immersed in the fascinating and varied world of percussion.
Tickets are £12 (£8 for concessions) and are available directly from the Corn Exchange
