Find a band for you!

If you are a beginner or started playing in the last three or four years, your local
Area Academy is the place to make musical friends and play alongside others. There are several locations, each with a selection of musical activities ranging from traditional to jazz, classical and contemporary.

If you are at or above a "Grade 5" standard then it's time to find out what the
County Academy have to offer as well. There are two main County Orchestras and opportunities for strings, woodwind, brass and percussion players.

Whatever your level look out for our projects, courses and workshops that occur throughout the year. There are opportunities this year for folk music, singing, and of course Striking Together for percussionists.
