Rehearsal
A first meeting will be held for participating teachers on Wednesday 10 February at 4.30pm at Peterborough Cathedral. At this meeting, the music will be provided, Ronald Corp will introduce the songs, and the Historical Association’s CDRom about the cathedral will be distributed. A recording of piano accompaniments of the songs for rehearsal purposes will also be available at this meeting.
A second meeting will be arranged some weeks later when teachers can catch up with each other, share concerns and tips, and discuss songs and practical details with the conductor and organising team. Area rehearsals will be organised in the two weeks before the event, when clusters of schools can meet together to go through the songs.
